Camilla Alexander is a seasoned Massage Therapist and skilled Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, practicing since 2004. She is a graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy, Colorado School of Energy Studies and Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. She specializes in therapeutic massage, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and Acutonics sound healing. Her contact is deep, intuitive and effective and her presence is warm and calming. Please read descriptions below for more detailed information.

Massage Therapy: Sessions are thoughtfully catered to meet your needs for therapeutic massage and deep relaxation. Camilla’s approach to massage is based in a structural understanding of the body, posture and muscle tissue health. Sessions are therapeutic, supporting injury recovery, easeful movement, range of motion, sports performance, and circulation. Techniques such as neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, Swedish, shiatsu principles, and integrative massage may be drawn on to meet your individual needs.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST): Sessions are designed to support a wide range of needs including, but not limited to: stress reduction, migraine intervention, TMJD, neck and back concerns, digestive issues, increasing circulation, and addressing stress patterns in the autonomic nervous system. BCST unwinds patterns of contraction held within the fluids and tissues of the body. These patterns may be originate rom one’s birth process, habitual posturing, injuries and/or traumatic events. BCST helps guide one into a deeper state of resonance with one’s innate healing capacity. Recipients often find they feel more resourced, rested and at ease in their bodies after a BCST session. Unless combined with massage therapy, clients remain clothed for a BCST session.

Acutonics Sound Healing: Acutonics sound healing is a method of energy balancing and health building. The name is derived from “acu” for Acupuncture and “tonics” for sound therapy. It is similar to Acupuncture though not the same. Acutonics uses tuning forks to penetrate meridians and energy centers in place of acupuncture needles. There is also an astrological component to Acutonics. Each tuning fork frequency is calibrated to the orbital rotation of a planet, the sun or moon in our solar system. Therefor, each tuning fork is different. The whole Acutonics system offers a wide variety of sound frequencies to support unique energy flows in and around the body. Your astrological birth chart can be used during your session to further inform which tuning forks (and the planetary frequencies they vibrate to) will be most supportive for you. Acutonics helps assist life transitions, balance the energy bodies, and relax and enliven soft tissue throughout the body. Unless combined with massage, clients remain clothed.
