Josh is an experienced and dedicated practitioner and teacher of yoga. His background includes intensive study of traditional hatha yoga both in India and the USA. He is also certified as an advanced practitioner of Thai Yoga Bodywork. Many years of practice and life experiences has brought both depth and humor to his teaching. He enjoys creating a space for people to do the practice and experience the simple joys of being.
Yin Yoga is a way of practicing which emphasizes longer duration holds of asana (postures) with relaxed musculature. This approach gently stresses the deeper tissues of the body (fascia, joints, bones), which over time both strengthen and increase flexibility. Although primarily a Yin teacher, you will find Josh enjoys including in a class, several active and dynamic practices to complete the picture.
